#Antique Kang Table Chinese (Chinese Kang Table with Lift Top). A very interesting kang table due the fact that is opens-a museum quality piece. This antique waisted kang table's apron is beautifully carved with floral patterns and cabriole legs which rest in small lotus pads.

The top lifts up to reveal an inner cavity, which have been used to store family treasures, writing tools, worship items or perhaps a tea service. The lacquer has a reddish hue and is aged in the center of the top of the kang table. It originally seems to have had a locking mechanism, but the key has been lost, but the top still lifts up.
